REBECCA NALEPA'S BOYFRIEND SET DOG ON HIS EX-WIFE

"SUSPICIOUS"
DOG ATTACK?
BURMESE beauty Rebecca Nalepa's multimillionaire boyfriend Jonah Shacknai set his dog on his ex-wife, police reports have revealed.
Just days after the gorgeous 32-year-old was found hanging, with her arms and legs bound in his Coronado, AZ mansion in what cops have called a 'very suspicious' death,  pictures of Shacknai's ex-wife Dina have emerged of what she claimed were dog bites.   At the time of the 2006 attack she told cops in a prepared
statement: "I feel scared of what he is capable of doing to me physically via the dog as well as the lengths he will go to try to destroy me in any way he was able to do so."
Records show that cops were called three times to the residence, known locally as the Spreckles mansion between 2007 and 2009, although charges were never filed, before the couple eventually split, a short time later.
Cops are seeking surveillance videos from the hospital where Shacknai told Cops he kept a constant bedside vigil by his son Max, who eventually passed away a few days after his fall, down the mansion's grand staircase.
The CEO of Medicis Pharmaceuticals, has yet to comment on the death of Nalepa, who was reportedly supposed to be looking after the six-year-old at the time.
But Radar Online have reported that he planned to propose to the Burmese beauty, who is also known as Rebecca Zahau.
A close friend told them: "It was a very serious relationship. There was a lot of love there. Jonah had every intention of proposing to Rebecca. Jonah wanted to spend the rest of his life with her."
Cops have called her death "very suspicious," and they continue to investigate.

REBECCA NALEPA'S SISTER: 'IT WASN'T SUICIDE'

MURDER OR SUICIDE?
THE SISTER of a woman found hanging at a millionaire's mansion with her arms and legs bound refuses to believe that she committed suicide.
Mary Zahau-Loehner said she spoke to her sister Rebecca Zahau, also known as Rebecca Nalepa, the day before her death and she had given no impression that she intended to take her own life.
Instead they had talked about Jonah Shacknai's son, Max, who had been seriously injured, when he fell down the grand staircase of the 27-room mansion and sadly passed away Monday.
Zahau-Loehner told ABC News: "Rebecca was a beautiful, vibrant, loving and kind person and she would never do this to herself.
"She was going to call mom and dad the next morning and text me throughout the day with updates on Max. She was very hopeful. She had to be strong and there for Jonah."
She added that her sister had always seemed very happy with Shacknai, who founded pharmaceutical giant Medicis which makes dermatological and aesthetic pharmaceutical products and took $700million in revenue last year.
Autopsies are being conducted on both bodies and the San Diego sheriff's office said today it's unclear if the boy's injuries are related to Zahau's death - although it was rumored she was supposed to be looking after the boy when he fell.
San Diego sheriff spokesman Roy Frank said: "Our investigation would include Max's incident. As far as if they are related, that's something we are just going to have to wait and see."
They are also trying to  determine whether Zahau, was murdered or it was in fact suicide, although initially called her death, "very suspicious."
Franks added: "We have had other cases in the past where people have used creative ways to commit suicide including people whose hands were tied behind their back."

JONAH SHACKNAI'S SON DIES DAYS AFTER HANGING

IN HAPPIER TIMES
DAYS after his girlfriend Rebecca Nalepa's nude body was found hanging from a balcony at his huge mansion, multimillionaire Jonah Shacknai's faces more tragedy. Now, his young son Max  has died.
A bizarre few days which cops have called 'very suspicious' started when the six-year-old, known as Maxie, to family and friends, fell down the luxury San Diego property's grand staircase on Friday.
Nalepa, 32, who had been in a relationship with Shacknai for two years, was reportedly supposed to be looking after him at the time.
That very night a party was held at the 27 room, home and the following morning her body was found, hung with orange electrical cord, her hands and feet gagged.
Her body was discovered by Shacknai's brother, Adam, who then cut her down before calling the cops.
Sheriff's investigators have not established any connection between the two deaths, and have not determined if Ms Nalepa was a crime victim and have made no arrests.
They said they have not ruled out suicide Sheriff's Captain Tim Curran has called the death "very bizarre."
He added: "It appears to be some type of a violent death, and I'm not going to compromise the integrity of the investigation by giving anything more than that at this time."
In joint a statement with ex-wife Dina Romano, the boy's mother, Mr Shacknai said: "With great sadness, Dina and I convey the tragic passing of our beloved son, Max (affectionately known as Maxie).
"Despite heroic efforts on the part of paramedics and hospital staff, he was unable to recover from the injuries suffered early last week. His loving, kind and vibrant spirit will be forever in our hearts and those whom he touched every day."

COPS: REBECCA NALEPA MET 'VIOLENT END' AT MANSION

HER beautiful naked body was found hanging, her hands and feet bound with orange electrical cord after a high society party at her pharmaceutical millionaire boyfriend's mansion.
Rebecca Nalepa, 32, met what officers described as a 'very violent and very suspicious end' at Jonah Shacknai's historic $17 million home in Coronado, CO.
The 54-year-old's brother Adam made the gruesome discovery.  He told cops he found the 32-year-old divorcee's body hanging by her neck from a second floor balcony, with her hands and feet
bound by orange electrical cord, the day after a swanky party at the 27-room luxury home.

Stranger still, just the day before Shacknai's six-year-old son had fallen down the stairs when Nalepa was reportedly looking after him.
He is still recovering in hospital, after emergency crews administered CPR and rushed him there.
Tim Curran, with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, described the circumstances as 'very suspicious', telling NBC San Diego that it appeared the victim had died a 'violent' death.
He said: "This is a very bizarre death, there is no doubt about it, no question about it. Until we can absolutely establish one manner or another, we're not ready to call this a criminal matter or a suicide."
