A car sits in the front of the building at 11055 S. Cicero Avenue after the female driver allegedly pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal as it pulled in front of the building in Oak Lawn, IL on Thursday July 14, 2011. 
An elderly female driver hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, plunging her vehicle into a vacant store front window Thursday in Orland Park, police said.The woman was not injured and was not charged, police Lt. Tim McCormick said. Her car had to be towed from the scene, McCormick said. The crash happened about 9 a.m. at 9538 W. 147th St. The window was boarded up.
