Two men who posed as female masseurs were arrested at the Four Seasons Hotel Thursday after allegedly trying to blackmail a “decoy” by threatening to post a naked picture of him online, police said.

A man who was acting as a “decoy” during a hotel massage robbery pattern was approached by Charles Patterson and Alverdis K. Williams who purported themselves to be females, police said.

They offered him a full body massage and when the man paid the amount of money they requested, he disrobed and was on a bed when the suspects allegedly took a picture of him and threatened to post it online if he didn’t give them more money, police said.

It was not immediately known when or where the incident occurred but the two were arrested Thursday at 120 E. Delaware Pl., the Four Seasons.

Patterson, 20, of the 6200 block of South Aberdeen and Williams, 31, of the 500 block of 86th Street, were charged with one couth each of attempted armed robbery, police said.

Patterson and Williams appeared in court Saturday where Williams was ordered held on $70,000, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s office. Williams is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on July 14 in North Felony Court, (Br. 42).

Bond information for Patterson was not immediately available.
