A man and woman were killed when the motorcycle they were driving crashed as they were fleeing from police in northwest suburban Wheeling.
Justine Randall, 23, and Sean Meyer, 26, were both killed near the intersection of South Milwaukee Avenue and Center Avenue in Wheeling, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Randall was of the 200 block of Inverrary Lane in Deerfield and Meyer was of the 500 block of South Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling, a medical examiner's spokeswoman said.
Randall was dead on the scene and Meyer was pronounced dead at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview at 4 a.m., she said.
The two were allegedly fleeing from police when they lost control and crashed, officials said.
Wheeling Police declined to comment.
No other information was immediately available.
