CELINA CASS: STEPFATHER'S TRUCK TAKEN AWAY

A PICKUP truck belonging to the troubled stepfather of Celina Cass, has been hauled away by cops investigating her mysterious death. 
The tragic 11-year-old's body was found dead on Monday, almost a week after her mysterious disappearance, but detectives are still trying to work out how she died. 
As part of their investigation they have taken the truck, which neighbors said was used by her stepfather Wendell Noyes, who was reportedly taken to hospital hours before the youngster's body was found. 
In the past he has received treatment for mental illness and was reportedly involuntarily committed to a mental institution and diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2003.
Officers remained tight lipped on why they were taking the truck, but it's thought they maybe searching for DNA or other clues in the vehicle.
New Hampshire Senior Assistant Attorney General Jane Young said has confirmed that an autopsy failed to determine how the girl died and further toxicology tests and more investigations were needed.
But she maintained the death was considered suspicious.
Cops are continuing to comb the river which divides Vermont and New Hampshire, near where Celina's body was found, while crime scene technicians said they were doing computer-aided diagramming to give them a precise electronic image of the area.
One of them said: "We always do a thorough job but because of the sad nature of this case, everyone is doubly determined to find out what happened. 
Five hundred tips were received and the FBI offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to her and to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for her disappearance.

BALLS: VIRGINIA TICE CHARGED WITH OBSCENITY

OKAY, so they're not in the best possible taste admittedly.
But in a fantastic waste of time and money Virginia Tice is heading to court for a jury trial over a ticket she was given for displaying big, plastic testicles on the back of her pickup truck.
The 65-year-old was reportedly fined a whopping $445, for the offending pair, after pulling into a convenience store near her home in Bonneau, SC.
Officers said that they violated the state's obscene bumper sticker law - even thought they're clearly not a sticker.  
Police Chief Franco Fuda asked for a jury trial, saying questions of obscenity should be determined by community standards.
According to Scott Bischoff, Tice's attorney, the trial will likely be next month.
He told KSEE: "She's such a sweet lady and she just says 'I don't want to pay the fine.' We'll let a jury decide whether this is really criminal behavior.
"I don't want to take away from the importance of free speech, but it's really comical."
Fuda said if the fake testicles were a free speech issue, "I don't know what they would be trying to express."

UPDATE: The woman's body found in an Indiana creek Sunday probably isn't missing blonde co-ed Lauren Spierer, the Marion County Coroner said today. The badly decomposed body was taller than the 5-foot-nothing Spierer, who has been missing for a month.
Indianapolis police have been in contact with cops from Bloomington and Noblesville, Ind., who are investigating the June 13 disappearance of 74-year-old Dorothy Heard.

EARLIER: THE TRAGIC case of missing student Lauren Spierer may be solved within days if the decomposing remains of a female body turn out to be her. Cops refused to speculate on how long they had been there but an autopsy soon,
to determine whether it is the 20-year-old student who last seen by friends leaving a Bloomington, IN sports bar on June 2. Despite thousands of tips, a huge search by volunteers on "Find Lauren Day" and the surveillance video,  which they later ruled out of a white pickup truck, they had no leads until now.      
A police insider said: "There are mixed feelings surrounding this,
because obviously we still want  to find Lauren alive and if this is not her then it will open up a whole new set of questions.
"If it is her, then it will obviously be very upsetting for a lot of people who have worked long and hard to bring her home safely."
Charlene Spierer described her daughter as a sweet, bubbly girl.

"Perhaps it was a terrible accident that happened and we can deal with that," Charlene Spierer said in late June. "What we can't deal with is what we don't know. So information is the most valuable thing we need right now."
