MISSING HOLLY BOBO'S MOM BEGS: 'PLEASE HELP US'

IT HAS almost been four months since a camo-clad man dragged a terrified Holly Bobo into the Tennessee woods. Since then, there have been few traces and few clues as to her whereabouts. Now, her family are desperate to find her. The 20-year-old Tennessee nursing student's disappearance has stymied cops and despite thousands of volunteer hours, her fate remains a mystery.
Her mother Karen Bobo told NewsChannel5: "I'm just doing what any loving parent would do and that is pleading and begging for anyone to come in and help."

On the openline show with hubby Dana and son Clint, Karen Bobo said she has had a hard time understanding the TBI's initial suspicion of Holly's brother. He was the first to be interrogated and the last to see her alive.
Clint Bobo said:  "I spend every day and some effort to try to bring Holly home and I either search or I go around a different local businesses and towns and distribute fliers."
Several callers offered hope and support to the family, including Bo Tuders, the father of still missing Tabitha Tuders. Karen Bobo added Natalie Holloway's mom called Sunday. EXCLUSIVE BOBO FAMILY INTERVIEW

Hughes is white and the other men are black. Bad news.

3 MONTHS AFTER KIDNAPPING: WHERE'S HOLLY BOBO?

THREE MONTHS. That's what Wednesday will mark. Three months since pretty blonde Tennessee nursing student Holly Bobo, 20, was snatched from her rural home by a man dressed in camouflage. So far, cops from the TBI appear to have run up against a series of brick walls and the trail--if not frozen--is ice cold. Despite thousands of volunteers scouring the woods near her home, clues have been few. For the family of Holly, the last three months have been agonzing and has also left her famous cousin, country star Whitney Duncan, in pieces as well.
Holly's mom Karen said: "Sundays are the hardest days because we were together, our whole family, all day long. Usually on Sunday we were doing things."

Her brother Clint had witnessed the abduction.
TBI Agent John Mehr said: "He actually had an arm holding her, so we feel she knew she was in fear of her life, so she was compliant with his commands."
Cops say Clint Bobo thought the camouflaged man was her boyfriend.  Investigators were initially not clear about how long it took her brother to realize something was wrong, but said said it did not take long. "A very, very short time," one law enforcement official said.
Aside from some items belonging to Holly that were discovered nearby, they have found nothing. And now hope has given way to terror. The next act in the friendly Tennessee woman's disappearance too terrible to contemplate. Detectives believe her abductor knew her and the area.
There is an $85,000 reward for information leading to Holly Bobo's location and the arrest of her abductor.  She is 5-3 and weighs 110 pounds with blonde, shoulder length hair and blue eyes.  Holly Bobo was last seen wearing a pink shirt and light blue jeans. Anyone with information should call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. MORE ON HOLLY BOBO DISAPPEARANCE

HOLLY BOBO, LAUREN SPIERER: CHILLING SIMILARITIES

TWO STUDENTS. Two blondes. Both petite. Both 20-years-old. Two young women in the prime of their lives. Two victims? The disappearance of Indiana University student Lauren Spierer on June 3 has chilling similarities to the mysterious April kidnapping of Tennessee nursing student Holly Bobo. They look eerily the same and it is raising frightening questions.
Lauren's mom Charlene said: "I can't even tell you what it's like to get that phone call that your daughter is missing." Holly's mom
Karen adds: "I think of her. I love her."
Despite intense efforts in Tennessee and Indiana for the recovery of both young women, cops appear to have hit brick walls despite hundreds of man hours and  hundreds of volunteer searchers. There has been no arrest in either case, although persons of interest have been questioned.
The similarities between the two are so great that many have mistaken the photo of Bobo for Spierer and vice versa. More frightening: it's not just these two women, other students missing around the country fit the same description.
Information leading to the discovery of Spierer, the daughter of a prominent New York family, could bring a $100,000 reward. Bobo's cousin is country singer Whitney Duncan. There is an $85,000 reward offered in her case.

"SOME PEOPLE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HOLLY BOBO"

TENNESSEE cops are still refusing to call the Holly Bobo case a homicide and it remains classified as a missing persons investigation.  It’s now two months since the 20-year-old nursing student was abducted from her Decatur County home and cops are still no closer to finding her kidnappers.
Authorities are still searching local areas every week and receive tips every day but so far nothing substantial enough to break the case.  Despite the lack of progress, TBI agent John Mehr insists that the investigation is still a missing persons case and
not a homicide.  While the local community has been helpful, Mehr believes that there are individuals deliberately withholding information that could bring Holly home safely.
He said: “We know people have that information. Just please call us. There's no doubt in my mind.  There are people who know what happened to Holly, and there may be more than one person involved."
The continued effort has exhausted locals and police alike yet all continue to search.  Members of the small community continually revisit areas of interest in the case in the hope of finding some small clue or lead. Like members of the local community, worn out from anxiety, Highway Patrol officer Lt. Brad Wilbanks hasn’t given up hope.
"We're still waiting on that tip. We're one tip away from finding her," Wilbanks said.
